In the US, around 60 million children are registered to play youth sports every year, yet an alarming 70% quit by age 13. The biggest reasons? Burnout, pressure from over-competitive parents, ineffective coaching, or simply a loss of enjoyment.
Sports participation is more than just competition; it’s a critical tool for growth and development. Sports participation teaches athletes how to handle failure, boost confidence, and improve both physical and mental well-being.

Each coach on our team is a Certified Mental Performance Mastery Coach through the industry-leading Brian Cain organization. Our Head Coach (Coach Danny, MPM) has also trained with MLB All-Star Sean Casey (The Mayor) and pro-sports Coach JD Dennis at Breakthrough Pro, learning proven mental performance strategies used by athletes and coaches at the highest level.
With experience in NCAA, military service, and elite mental performance training, our team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to athletes and coaches at every level.

The Warrior Academy includes detailed learning modules to help you develop actionable skills to build confidence, improve self-esteem, increase focus, and withstand adversity during performance.
Every athlete or coach has a different and unique journey while developing mental performance skills because not all individuals experience the same performance barriers. Results also vary based on the individual’s desire to improve their mental performance skills, their ability to apply mental performance skills in competition, and their willingness to overcome mental barriers in the way of successful performance.
In short, it varies. Every athlete or coach has a unique and different timeline when it comes to skill development. Just like it takes a few months to see results in the gym, it also takes time to develop mental performance skills. Moreover, it depends on the desire to improve, the ability to apply mental performance skills, and a willingness to recognize and work through challenges! Mental performance skills should be trained in parallel with athletic performance to ensure ongoing development. If mental performance training is a new area of focus, we recommend beginning with the Warrior Academy.
Yes! Virtual appointments (Zoom) are standard training format. Training resources and files are always shared digitally so each session can be completed remotely. On-site training is currently available within the greater Chicagoland area.

Mental Performance training is suitable for athletic levels 10U and above. Parental approval/sponsor required for minors.
